You will get an S-class 5-seater such as the VITZ, FIT or NOTE; specific models cannot be requested. Luggage capacity is based on 3 bags (H 40 cm × W 60 cm) and 2 suitcases (H 70 cm × W 50 cm). The navigation system supports Chinese, English, Japanese and Korean.

Pick up and return your car at the Shin-Osaka branch

The JR Rent-A-Car Shin-Osaka branch is on your right after taking the stairs down to the 1st floor from the south exit of Shin-Osaka Station. It is open daily from 08:00 to 20:00, and both pickup and return take place here.

At the counter, show your e-voucher, original passport, original home-country driver's license and International Driving Permit (or official Japanese translation). You will receive the car with a full tank and must refill it before returning.

Collision damage waiver and NOC insurance included

The price includes collision damage waiver and NOC insurance. The NOC insurance waives the Non-Operation Charge (NOC) for the period the car cannot be used after an accident.

However, coverage does not apply to accidents not reported to the police, accidents caused by unlicensed driving or driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, non-accident damage or lost keys, driving on riverbeds, forest roads or other places likely to damage the car, misfueling or flat tires, fines for violating local laws, or accidents after the scheduled rental time. In these cases you must pay an NOC of 20,000–50,000 yen per accident depending on the car class.

※ Rental fees are charged per day based on the branch's business hours. Returning the car after closing time on the same day incurs a 2-day charge.
※ In case of an accident, always report it to the police and the branch. Coverage does not apply if it is not reported.
