After booking, the eSIM QR code is sent to you in a separate email. Install and activate the eSIM on your phone following the email instructions, and you can use data in Taiwan. The validity period counts from activation. For example, a 7-day plan activated on January 1 at 4pm expires on January 8 at 4pm.

An unlimited data-only plan

Data is unlimited, but the network providers apply a Fair Usage Policy. If you use more than 2GB per day, speed is throttled to 512kbps, usually returning to high speed within 24 hours. This is a data-only eSIM with no phone number, so calls and texts are not available.

Check your phone before installing

eSIM compatibility is set by the device manufacturer or, in some cases, the carrier of the country where you bought the phone. Carrier-locked phones cannot use eSIM. Supported devices include iPhone XR, XS, XS Max, SE (2020/2022) and 11-14 series, Galaxy S20-S23, Note 20, Z Fold and Z Flip series, and Google Pixel 3-7 series.
