After booking, the eSIM QR code is sent to you in a separate email. Scan the QR code from your phone's cellular (mobile data) settings to install it and use data anywhere in Taiwan. The validity period starts when the eSIM is scanned or installed, so we recommend scanning it on the day you start using it.

Choose unlimited or 1GB per day

The unlimited data plan uses the Chunghwa Telecom network and is available for 1, 3, 5, 7 or 10 days. A daily 2GB Fair Usage Policy applies: if you use more than 2GB in a day, speed is reduced and high-speed data resets the next day. The 1GB-per-day plan is available for 1, 3, 5, 7 or 10 days with 1GB of data each day. Both plans are data-only at 5G (where available) or LTE speed, with no local number, calls or SMS.

Check your phone before installing

The eSIM works on unlocked Android and iOS phones that support eSIM. Supported devices include iPhone XR, XS, XS Max and 11-15 series (including Pro, Pro Max, Plus and Mini) and Samsung Galaxy S21 and later; compatibility is determined by the manufacturer. The QR code can be scanned only once, so scan it on the phone you will use, connected to a stable internet connection.

※ Do not delete the eSIM until the end of your trip. Deleted eSIMs cannot be recovered or replaced.
