Little World is an open-air ethnological museum in Inuyama, Aichi Prefecture, themed on "people and culture." You can see houses and everyday tools from around the world, taste local food and try on costumes to experience the ways of life of many countries firsthand.

Walk the 2.5 km loop past traditional houses of the world

The outdoor exhibition area lines up houses from 23 countries and regions along a loop path of about 2.5 km. Houses where people actually lived were relocated, or real houses were reconstructed as accurately as possible, down to materials and building methods.

Enjoy world food and ethnic costumes

You can sample local dishes in each country's area as you stroll, try on more than 30 types of ethnic costumes and take photos in front of the buildings. You can also browse shops selling traditional crafts and souvenirs from around the world.

See ethnographic collections in the main exhibition hall

The main exhibition hall is divided into five themes: evolution, technology, language, society and values, and displays about 6,000 ethnographic items from more than 70 countries and regions.
