and see Xi'an's top sights in one day

Around 8:00–8:30 AM, the guide and driver visit several hotels in turn to pick up participants. You'll travel in an air-conditioned vehicle, and a certified English-speaking guide will explain each sight. Unlimited bottled water is provided during the tour.

See the life-size Terracotta Warriors

At the Terracotta Army Museum, you'll see rows of life-size clay soldiers, each with its own features. Over about 2.5 hours with your guide, you'll learn about the history of the warriors made for Emperor Qin Shi Huang over 2,000 years ago, the excavation process and ancient Chinese craftsmanship. You'll skip the ticket line.

Enjoy a home-cooked lunch with a local family

You'll head to a local family's home in a village in the Lintong District near the Terracotta Army for a lunch of about 1 hour. Taste authentic home cooking that differs from restaurant food, and chat with locals about their daily life, traditions and local history.

Explore the Xi'an City Wall and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda

At the well-preserved ancient Xi'an City Wall, your guide will explain the city's old defenses and historical significance. At the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, with over 1,000 years of history, you'll stroll through quiet gardens and see the halls, Buddhist scriptures and relics. After the tour, you'll return to your hotel in the evening.
