From Hanoi: Ha Long Bay Sung Sot Cave & Ti Top Island Day Tour - Lunch & Sunset Tea

Explore Ha Long Bay's caves, lagoon
and islands in a day from Hanoi

This day tour of about 12 hours takes you from your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter to Ha Long Bay and back. You set off between 8:00 and 8:45 AM in an air-conditioned bus with an English-speaking guide, who shares stories about Vietnam during the roughly 2.5-hour drive.

Around noon, you board the cruise at Tuan Chau Port and spend about 5.5 hours visiting Sung Sot Cave, a lagoon and Ti Top Island. The tour ends back at your Old Quarter hotel between 8:30 and 9:00 PM.

and explore Sung Sot Cave

Enjoy a Vietnamese lunch on board as the boat sails between the islands. Sung Sot Cave, in the heart of Ha Long Bay, is one of the largest caves in the area, filled with countless stalactites and stalagmites. If you prefer not to enter the cave, you can relax on the boat deck.

Kayak or ride a bamboo boat

On the way back from Sung Sot Cave, you stop at a small lagoon surrounded by mountains. Choose either a kayak or a bamboo boat to explore the calm water.

Climb Ti Top Island
and swim at the beach

On Ti Top Island, climb to the top for a view over the whole of Ha Long Bay. Back down, you can swim or sunbathe on the beach.

Back on board, sip Vietnamese tea with cake and fruit and watch the sunset as you cruise back to Tuan Chau Port. From the port, the bus takes you back to Hanoi with a short rest stop on the way.
