Highlights
This snorkeling tour departs from Maafushi Island in the Maldives by speedboat to meet nurse sharks, stingrays and dolphins. Program
Board a speedboat on Maafushi
and head out to the Maldivian sea
The tour starts and ends on Maafushi Island. Departure is between 6 and 7 a.m., and the exact meeting time and place will be sent by the evening before the tour. Cross the clear waters of the Maldives by speedboat to the first spot.
Swim with nurse sharks at Dhiggiri Shark Point
After about 45 minutes by speedboat, arrive at Dhiggiri Shark Point. Snorkel for about 2 hours and see nurse sharks up close. You can capture the moment with underwater photos and videos, and drone footage is available for an extra fee.
Enjoy lunch with stingrays at Dhiggiri Sand Bank
After about 15 minutes, spend about 1 hour at Dhiggiri Sand Bank. Relax with a packed lunch and swim among stingrays. Your guide will take photos of you with the stingrays.
Look for dolphins at Dolphin Lagoon
After about 25 minutes, snorkel for about 1 hour at Dolphin Lagoon while looking for dolphins. If dolphins appear in the lagoon, you may have the chance to swim with them. The boat returns to Maafushi Pier about 25 minutes later, arriving around 13:00–14:00.
