Program
Head to Kaafu Atoll by speedboat
and enjoy both the sea and the island
Depart from Jammin water sports in Maafushi and travel by speedboat for about 30 minutes. The speedboat is equipped with safety gear including life jackets. The tour lasts about 4.5 hours including snorkeling, a visit to Gulhi Island and dolphin watching, and returns to the starting point at the end.
Snorkel with nurse sharks and stingrays
At the first spot, gear up with a mask, snorkel and fins and get a briefing from a professional guide and safety staff. For about 1 hour, see gentle nurse sharks, stingrays and the coral ecosystem up close in clear water. Underwater photos and videos are taken for free.
Explore Gulhi Island and have lunch on the beach
On Gulhi Island, spend about 1.5 hours exploring the quiet village streets, local cafes and bikini beach. Enjoy a lunch buffet with tropical fruit and drinks on a sandbank overlooking the turquoise sea, and relax or swim on the white sand beach.
End the day with a dolphin cruise
On the way back, spend about 40 minutes crossing the Kaafu Atoll channel looking for pods of wild spinner dolphins, with time for snorkeling.
