Program
Take a speedboat from Maafushi
to snorkel at the coral garden
Departure is between 8 and 9 a.m. Meet the captain at Maafushi harbor in the morning, board the speedboat and cross the clear waters to the coral garden, about 10 minutes away. Put on the provided mask, snorkel and fins and spend about 1 hour spotting colorful corals and fish.
Swim with sea turtles at the turtle reef
Next is Turtle's Head, a reef where sea turtles like to feed and rest. During about 1 hour of snorkeling, you may see turtles feeding or surfacing to breathe. The guide takes photos of you while you swim with the turtles.
Enjoy lunch and free time on a sandbank
Stop at K. Guraidhoo Sandbank for about 1 hour to have a packed lunch, take photos and relax. Take in the view of the white sandbank in the middle of the sea at your own pace.
Explore dolphin waters and return to Maafushi
The tour ends with about 45 minutes of dolphin spotting or snorkeling in an area often visited by dolphins. Then a 15-minute speedboat ride brings you back to Maafushi harbor around 1-2 p.m.
