explore Tianmen Mountain right away
This tour is designed for travelers arriving in Zhangjiajie in the morning or early afternoon. Pickup is from Zhangjiajie Hehua International Airport (DYG), Zhangjiajie West Railway Station or your hotel, and free luggage storage is available so you can head straight to Tianmen Mountain without worrying about your bags. Depending on your arrival time and preference, choose from a guided tour (Package A), a self-guided tour (Package B) or a ticket only (Package C).
Walk the Heaven's Stairway and cliffside walkways
At Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park, climb the 999-step Heaven's Stairway to Tianmen Cave and walk the paths along the cliffs while enjoying panoramic mountain views. Package A explores with a guide for about 3 hours 30 minutes, while Packages B and C receive a map of Tianmen Mountain and a suggested route to explore freely at your own pace. Weather permitting, you can also see the sunset and the illuminated evening scenery of the mountain from Tianmen Cave.
Package A continues to the night views of Furong Town
After Tianmen Mountain, Package A takes the high-speed train (second class) to Furong Town to enjoy its illuminated evening scenery. You then return to Zhangjiajie by high-speed train and transfer by car to your hotel. Package B also transfers you by car to your hotel after visiting Tianmen Mountain.
※ Drop-off after the tour is in downtown Zhangjiajie or Wulingyuan (East Gate area).
