Highlights
This all-inclusive tour covers Zhangjiajie's top sights over one or two days. Visit Hallelujah Mountain (Yuanjiajie), known as the inspiration for the floating mountains in Avatar, and Tianzi Mountain, and on the 2-day option also visit the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge and Tianmen Mountain. Entrance tickets, cable cars and shuttle buses for your chosen option, plus the Grand Canyon activity package, are included, and there are no shopping stops so you can focus on sightseeing. Hotel pickup and off to
Zhangjiajie National Forest Park
Between 7 and 8 PM the day before the tour, your guide will contact you to confirm your hotel address and meeting time, then pick you up from your hotel on the day. The drive from downtown Zhangjiajie to the east gate of Wulingyuan takes about 40 minutes. The 1-day option (A) covers Day 1 only, while the 2-day options (B, C, etc.) cover both days.
Ride the Bailong Elevator up to Yuanjiajie
At the park, take an eco shuttle bus for about 30 minutes to the Bailong Elevator, an outdoor elevator built on the cliff. After the ride, walk about 10 minutes along a stone path and take another 10-minute shuttle to Yuanjiajie. Spend 1 to 1.5 hours with your guide at Hallelujah Mountain, known as the inspiration for the floating mountains in Avatar, and the First Bridge Under Heaven.
Next, head to Tianzi Mountain, famous for its sea of clouds. For lunch, choose from a restaurant, local snacks or McDonald's. After sightseeing, ride the Tianzi Mountain cable car down to the Ten-Mile Gallery and enjoy the scenery along the path, then return by shuttle bus to the Wulingyuan east gate and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2: cross the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge
Get picked up from your hotel between 7 and 8 AM and drive about 1 hour to the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge with commentary from your guide. After crossing the glass bridge, enjoy Grand Canyon activities such as VR, slides, a zipline, an outdoor elevator and a Rainbow Lake boat ride. If you skip the zipline, walk or take the elevator down into the canyon and ride the boat to the exit.

Drive about 1 more hour to Tianmen Mountain. Take the cable car up and explore Tianmen Cave with its 999 steps, the escalators through the mountain, the cliffside glass skywalk and viewpoints. You can eat at a mountain restaurant or have snacks. At the end of the day, ride the cable car down and transfer back to your hotel.

Free pickup is available from hotels in the Wulingyuan area near the east gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and in downtown Zhangjiajie (Yongding District). For the 2-day group and language-specific private options, you can also meet at Zhangjiajie Hehua Airport or Zhangjiajie West Railway Station. If your accommodation is outside the pickup area, please take a taxi to the meeting point at the east gate of the National Forest Park or the Starbucks at Huatian Hotel in Yongding District. Showing the driver the address in Chinese makes it easier.
