Departing from Coral Sea Marina in Airlie Beach, this sailing tour explores the Whitsunday Islands surrounded by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and the Coral Sea. Spend two nights on board while visiting Whitehaven Beach, snorkeling the reefs and enjoying meals on deck, then return to the marina around 8 to 9 AM on the last day.

Stay on a yacht shared by 12 guests

Mandrake is a yacht for guests of all ages, with single bunk beds and double beds in an open-plan space that sleeps 12 guests and 2 crew. On the first night, you anchor in a sheltered spot between the islands and spend the evening watching the sky turn red.

Visit Whitehaven Beach and the Whitsunday Islands

The itinerary may include Whitehaven Beach, Hook Island, Hayman Island, Border Island and Whitsunday Island. You sail between the islands with the crew, and the islands and order of visits are decided according to weather and sea conditions.

Snorkel the reef and enjoy meals on board

Snorkel among the coral at spots chosen for the day, such as Luncheon Bay, Cave Cove or Blue Pearl Bay. Snorkeling equipment and stinger suits (wetsuits) are included.

All meals are freshly prepared on board, including spaghetti bolognese, beef tacos, meat dishes, salads, bread, fruit, dips and crackers.
