Head into the midsummer night jungle
in search of the one-night sagaribana

Around 20:00, meet your guide at Uehara Port or your accommodation in the Uehara area and travel to the field. When you arrive around 20:15, start your walk through the night jungle while viewing the sagaribana.

View the sagaribana, the "phantom flower"

The sagaribana blooms in mangrove wetlands from the rainy season to summer, opening only on summer nights and falling within a single night. It produces white, pink and red flowers with a sweet vanilla-like scent, and you are welcome to take your own photos while viewing.

Feel the subtropical jungle at night

While going around the jungle in search of the sagaribana, you can observe creatures unique to the subtropics, and on clear nights you can also see the starry sky. The tour ends around 21:30, and you arrive back at Uehara Port or your accommodation around 21:45.
