Around 20:00, meet your guide at Uehara Port or your accommodation in the Uehara area and ride the PiPi vehicle to the field. On arrival, start with a walk among the sagaribana, followed by jungle exploration and stargazing. It is a chance to see the island's nighttime face up close with a guide, available only to travelers staying on Iriomote.

View the sagaribana, the "phantom flower" that blooms for one night

The sagaribana is a mysterious flower that blooms only on summer nights and falls within a single night. It gives off a sweet vanilla-like scent and blooms in vivid white and pink, and you are welcome to take your own photos while viewing.

Look for subtropical creatures in a secret jungle

After the sagaribana viewing, move to a secret jungle where you can observe plants and animals. Known for its subtropical jungle, Iriomote Island comes alive after sunset as nocturnal creatures become active all at once. Shine your flashlight with the guide and search for creatures unique to the subtropics.

Look up at the night sky in a Dark Sky Place

Finally, enjoy the starry sky at a spot recommended by your guide. With almost no artificial light, Iriomote Island is recognized as Japan's first Dark Sky Place. The tour ends around 21:45, and you arrive back at Uehara Port or your accommodation around 22:00.
