From Hanoi: Ha Long Bay Calista Cruise 2D1N - Sung Sot & Luon Caves

Depart from Hanoi and spend a night
on Ha Long Bay aboard the Calista Cruise

Around 8:00 AM, a limousine picks you up from your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter and takes you to Tuan Chau Port, where you board the Calista Cruise to sail Ha Long Bay for 2 days and 1 night. An English-speaking guide accompanies you, and onboard meals (lunch, dinner, breakfast, and brunch), a private cabin, cave visits, and onboard activities are included. You return to your Hanoi hotel around 2:30 PM on day 2.

Sail past limestone islets and explore Sung Sot Cave

Board at the port around 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM with a welcome drink and canapés, then after a safety briefing enjoy a Vietnamese set-menu lunch at the Bay View Dining restaurant. As you sail, see famous limestone formations such as Fighting Cocks Islet and Finger Islet. In the afternoon, visit Sung Sot Cave, one of the largest and most impressive caves in Ha Long Bay, with its grand stalactites and stalagmites.

Enjoy a cooking class, sunset, and barbecue dinner on board

Back on the cruise, enjoy afternoon tea and light snacks at the Breeze Bar while watching the sun set over the bay. Happy hour (5:30 to 6:30 PM) offers a buy-two-get-one-free deal. Join a Vietnamese cooking class led by the onboard chef, then enjoy a barbecue dinner with Ha Long specialties on the sundeck with traditional music. In the evening, relax, play games, go squid fishing, or book a massage on request.

Pass through Luon Cave by kayak or bamboo boat

Day 2 begins with a morning exercise session on the sundeck, followed by a Vietnamese breakfast. Take a shuttle boat to Luon Cave and explore the peaceful waters by kayak or on a traditional bamboo boat rowed by locals. Back on board, enjoy brunch with a live cooking demonstration by the chef as you sail back, arriving at Tuan Chau Port around 11:15 AM.
