Stories of village and city life in southern Vietnam
Inspired by life in southern Vietnam, the À Ố Show contrasts the calm of a traditional village with the energy of a bustling cityscape. Performers use handmade bamboo props and instruments to present acrobatics, subtle humor and folk music, and you can hear traditional Vietnamese music played on 17 traditional instruments.
A Vietnamese show loved on world stages
Since 2015, the À Ố Show has toured Europe, Brazil, Oman, Taiwan, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia and more. In June 2019, it became the first Vietnamese show to perform at the Sydney Opera House.
