After hotel pickup in Districts 1, 3 or 4, you travel by luxury speedboat along the Saigon River to the Cu Chi Tunnels. Explore the tunnels with an English-speaking guide, enjoy lunch and return to the city by speedboat. The whole tour takes about 7 hours, and a private tour option is also available.

Cruise along the Saigon River by speedboat

After hotel pickup, board the speedboat and head up the Saigon River toward Cu Chi. Enjoy the riverside scenery and glimpses of bustling Saigon as you speed along the water.

Explore the maze of underground tunnels

At the Cu Chi Tunnels, watch a short propaganda film and see the various traps used during the war. Explore the labyrinth of secret trapdoors, storage areas, weapon workshops, a field hospital, command center and kitchen, and crawl through one of the tunnels yourself. If you like, you can fire an M16 rifle at the shooting range for an extra fee.

Taste tapioca and a Vietnamese lunch

Stop at a farm in the Cu Chi forest to taste tapioca, a popular food during the war, with Vietnamese hot tea. Then enjoy a Vietnamese set lunch (vegetarian available) and return to the city by speedboat. You can be dropped off at the War Remnants Museum, Ben Thanh Market or your hotel in Districts 1, 3 or 4.
