This tour takes you from your hotel in central Ho Chi Minh City to the Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta in one day, traveling comfortably in a VIP limousine. At the Cu Chi Tunnels, you explore the wartime underground network, crawl through narrow tunnels and see living quarters, kitchens, meeting rooms and booby traps. In the afternoon in My Tho, you glide through palm-lined canals in a small rowboat and cross to Coconut Island by motorboat, then enjoy honey tea, tropical fruit, coconut candy and traditional folk music at a local home. Ride a VIP limousine
to the Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta
The tour starts with pickup from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, or a meeting at the designated meeting point, between 7:30 and 8:00 AM. After about 2 hours in a VIP vehicle, you arrive at the Cu Chi Tunnels.
Explore the underground network of the Cu Chi Tunnels
Tour the extensive underground network used during the war and crawl through narrow tunnels yourself. You can also see the living quarters, kitchens, meeting rooms and booby traps built by the Viet Cong. If you wish, you can try shooting at the on-site range (bullets at extra cost).
Explore the Mekong Delta by rowboat and motorboat
After a Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant, you head to My Tho, the heart of the Mekong Delta. Ride a small rowboat through palm-lined canals, then switch to a motorboat to reach Coconut Island.
Experience local life on Coconut Island
Visit a local family home to taste honey tea, tropical fruit and coconut candy while enjoying traditional folk music. Before returning to Ho Chi Minh City, take a short walk through the countryside to get a feel for rural life. Estimated arrival at your hotel is between 6:30 and 7:00 PM.
