I was sleepy because we left early in the morning, but the sheer scale of the Mekong River woke me up instantly upon arrival. Haha. The highlight was definitely the rowboat experience! Wearing a conical hat (non la) and passing through the narrow palm-lined waterways, it felt like I had stepped into a scene from a movie. The photo I took here is the best shot of this trip!

 At the villages we stopped at along the way, I indulged in plenty of honey tea and tropical fruits, and even tried some freshly made coconut candy—the chewiness was on a whole different level. The fried &#39;elephant ear fish&#39; served for lunch was visually stunning, and wrapping it in rice paper made it perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside—it was just right even for someone with a childish palate like me. Haha.
