Hue Imperial City & Abandoned Thuy Tien Water Park E-Scooter Tour with Pickup & Lunch

Spend a day by e-scooter exploring
Hue's Imperial City and countryside villages

The tour starts at 8 AM when your e-scooter rider picks you up at your hotel. In the morning (8:00–12:00), explore the Imperial City and historic sites in town, and in the afternoon (13:00–17:00), visit Thuy Bieu Village, the incense village, Vong Canh Hill and the abandoned Thuy Tien Water Park. Choose to ride behind a driver or ride an e-bike yourself.

Walk through the Imperial City and Forbidden City

Spend about 2.5 hours with your guide exploring the UNESCO-listed Imperial City and the legacy of the Nguyen Dynasty. Stroll through the Forbidden City, once the emperor's residence, and admire architecture influenced by Chinese and Western styles. Imperial City tickets are not included.

Next, visit Ho Quyen (Tiger Arena) and Voi Re (Elephant Temple). The arena no longer stands, but the temple honors a loyal elephant said to have traveled far to mourn its master.

Have lunch in Thuy Bieu Village and visit the incense village

Leave the city behind and stroll through Thuy Bieu Village, with its rice fields, old lanes, ancient houses and temples. Enjoy a local lunch at a charming garden house in the village.

Continue to Thuy Xuan Incense Village, famous for traditional incense making, to see how incense sticks are made and learn about their role in Vietnamese life.

Finish at Vong Canh Hill and the abandoned water park

Take in views of the Perfume River and Hue from Vong Canh Hill. Finally, explore the eerie abandoned Thuy Tien Water Park, then relax with a Vietnamese coffee as you look back on the day.
