This is an admission ticket to the Cultural Exchange Exhibition (permanent exhibition) of the Kyushu National Museum in Dazaifu, Fukuoka. After booking, you receive a voucher by email within 24 hours; show it to the on-site staff on the day of your visit to enter.

Opening hours are 09:30 to 17:00 (last entry 16:30). On Fridays and Saturdays during special exhibitions, the museum is open until 20:00 (last entry 19:30). Closed on Mondays (the following day if Monday is a holiday).

The Cultural Exchange Exhibition, from the Paleolithic to the modern era

Opened in 2005, the Kyushu National Museum focuses on cultural exchange between Japan and Asia. Precious relics from Kyushu and Asian art treasures from the Paleolithic to the Meiji period show how Japanese culture took shape.

Experience history and culture in depth

Rather than simply displaying art, the museum is designed to let visitors experience history and culture in depth. Facilities for children and families are also available.

Glass architecture reflecting green hills

The double-glass facade reflects the surrounding green hills and trees like a painting. Inside, the bright, spacious halls let you enjoy natural light as you explore.
