Discover Mumbai's hidden everyday life
with a local guide
Explore Mumbai, one of India's most vibrant and multicultural cities, with a local guide. Instead of the main sights, you'll visit lesser-known places and hear local stories from your guide. Meet your guide at the meeting point of your chosen option, then take a train to Dharavi (about 20 minutes).
Walk through Dharavi with your guide
Follow your guide around Dharavi on foot for about 100 minutes. Photography is not allowed inside Dharavi, so take it all in with your eyes and ears.
Step inside the open-air laundry of Dhobi Ghat
After Dharavi, move on to Dhobi Ghat and explore the inside of the huge open-air laundry for about 20 minutes.
Meet the dabbawalas at Churchgate Station
Take a train to Churchgate Railway Station (about 15 minutes) and watch the dabbawalas, the lunchbox deliverymen, at work. Your guide will explain how they carry out their work so smoothly.
※ Dabbawalas do not work on Sundays and public holidays, so they are not included in the itinerary on those days.
