Ishigaki Sea Turtle Snorkeling & Phantom Island Tour (Sunfish)

Board a boat at Hamasaki Marina
and head out to the Ishigaki sea

Meet in front of Vessel Hotel Ishigakijima or get picked up at your hotel, then set sail by boat from Hamasaki Marina. Choose the half-day course or the 7-hour course; equipment rental, insurance and a guide are included.

Half-day course: snorkel with sea turtles in Sekisei Lagoon

Meet at 8:30 or 12:30 and depart 30 minutes later. At the point, enjoy about 1 hour 30 minutes of snorkeling. The morning course returns to the marina around 11:30 and the afternoon course around 15:30.

7-hour course: trial dive at the best spot of the day and a Phantom Island landing

The best spot of the day is chosen among Phantom Island, the Blue Cave and sea turtle points based on sea conditions. In the morning, enjoy a trial dive and land on Phantom Island, a sandbar that appears at low tide. After a lunch break, go sea turtle snorkeling in the afternoon and return to Hamasaki Marina around 15:00.

All tour photos are free

Staff take photos of participants underwater and on land during the tour. Photos are provided as data free of charge. Round-trip transfer is available from city-area hotels (Fusaki to ANA InterContinental), and you will be contacted with the meeting time around 19:00 the day before.
