Meet your English-speaking guide at a bike shop in the town of Versailles, get your bike and helmet and set off. Ride leisurely through the vast grounds, enjoy the peaceful scenery along the Grand Canal and hear the behind-the-scenes stories of the magnificent Palace of Versailles from your guide.
Stroll through Marie Antoinette's Queen's Hamlet
Visit the Queen's Hamlet (Hameau), the fairy-tale village where Marie Antoinette came to relax, and hear stories about her lavish life. Then follow a scenic path to the Petit Trianon, a royal retreat.
See the Hall of Mirrors inside the palace
The tour ends inside the Palace of Versailles. Wrap up your half day by touring its lavish halls and famous rooms, including the dazzling Hall of Mirrors. Palace entry is made with a timed reservation.
※ On Tuesdays from March 2 to May 20 and from June 26 to October 31, the fountains do not run. Instead, Baroque classical music plays throughout the gardens.

Exit Versailles Château Rive Gauche train station and walk into McDonald's. Several stations have 'Versailles' in their name, so please check the station name. Leave McDonald's through the back door on the right, cross the shopping mall past the video game store, and you will find a corner shop full of bikes. The tour ends back at the meeting point.
