Enjoy a guided tour of about 1 hour 30 minutes at Notre-Dame Cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture. Look at the grand portals and the Gallery of Kings lined with statues of biblical kings, then go inside to admire the soaring vaulted ceilings, stained glass, rose windows and altar.

Your guide shares the French history held within the cathedral, from the restoration work after the 2019 fire and the stories behind the gargoyles and spire to Victor Hugo's novel "The Hunchback of Notre-Dame" and the coronation of Napoleon Bonaparte.

Stroll around Île de la Cité for about 30 minutes and learn how this former Roman settlement became the historic heart of Paris. Walk along the Seine and admire the exteriors of the medieval landmarks Sainte-Chapelle and the Conciergerie (entry is not included).
