The tour begins at Sainte-Chapelle, built in the 13th century by Louis IX to house sacred relics such as the Crown of Thorns. Enter with a pre-booked ticket and explore with your guide for about 75 minutes. Its 15 towering stained-glass windows contain more than 1,100 biblical stories, and you will also hear how this royal chapel displayed the king's power and faith.

Hear the history and restoration story of Notre-Dame Cathedral

Next, head to Notre-Dame Cathedral, begun in 1163 and completed more than 200 years later, for a guided tour of about 75 minutes. Look at the Gothic architecture adorned with arches, sculptures and towers, and hear stories of Joan of Arc's trial, Napoleon's coronation and Victor Hugo's novel "The Hunchback of Notre-Dame". Learn about the 2019 fire and the restoration while exploring the façade, towers and square.
