This full-day guided tour departs at 7:15 a.m. from near Louvre-Rivoli station and travels to Normandy and back in an air-conditioned vehicle. Your driver-guide shares the history of World War II and the Normandy landings in English, Spanish or French.

Walk among the bunkers and craters of Pointe du Hoc

Start the day at Pointe du Hoc, a strategic site fortified by German forces during World War II. This is where the US Rangers carried out their landing operation in June 1944. Walk among the bunkers and craters, take in the sea views and see the memorial site honoring the soldiers who fought here.

Pay tribute at Omaha Beach and the Normandy American Cemetery

At Omaha Beach, the best known of the Normandy landing beaches, you'll hear about the heavy losses the Allies suffered during Operation Overlord. Today the beach is home to many monuments and memorials.

Next, visit the Normandy American Cemetery in Colleville-sur-Mer, where thousands of American soldiers who fell in the Battle of Normandy are buried. The visitor center tells the personal stories of the soldiers and the events of D-Day through exhibits and films.

See the remains of the Mulberry harbor at Arromanches

Finally, visit Arromanches-les-Bains, famous for the Mulberry artificial harbor that played a decisive role in the success of the Allied landings, and explore the remains of the harbor. After the tour, you'll return to Paris and be dropped off near the starting point (6 Rue de l'Amiral de Coligny).
