An English-speaking live guide leads the tour, groups are limited to 8 people, and it takes about 6 hours. You see views of Abisko village, Lake Torneträsk and Lapporten, and visit Abisko Canyon and the Silver Falls.
Visit Abisko Canyon and the Silver Falls
In Abisko National Park you look around the impressive Abisko Canyon and stop at the Silver Falls. The falls are fully frozen in December, January and March. While walking snowy winter trails you also learn tips for recognizing animal tracks and other signs of wildlife.
Feel an Arctic morning from a viewpoint
You are guided to places most visitors do not reach. At a viewpoint you rest for a while, take in the quiet scenery of an Arctic morning and enjoy traditional Swedish cookies and a warm drink. There is also time to walk on the frozen lake, but only when conditions allow.
Hear about Lapporten and Sami culture
Your guide shares stories and knowledge about the region, Sami culture and Arctic wildlife throughout the day. At the end of the tour you travel back to Kiruna along Lake Torneträsk, Kaisepakte and the scenic Arctic road, and are dropped off at your hotel.

Pickup is available at Scandic Kiruna, Camp Ripan, Best Western Hotel Arctic Eden, STF Kiruna Hotell & Vandrarhem, ICEHOTEL and Aurora River Camp.
Please wait outside the hotel at the scheduled pickup time, not inside the reception. The vehicle waits up to 5 minutes and leaves for other guests' pickups if you cannot be reached.
Guests staying at Best Western Arctic Eden are picked up in front of the Arctic Thai restaurant right in front of the hotel. Guests staying at Elite Hotel Frost and Scandic are picked up at the Kiruna tourist office (Malmvägen 9B), about 200 m on foot, because vehicles cannot reach the hotels.
Pickup and drop-off are not provided at Airbnbs, Camp Alta, Aurora Camp Kurravaara or Reindeer Lodge. Please meet at one of the designated pickup points.
