This small-group day tour picks you up at your hotel in Kiruna and visits Abisko National Park and Björkliden. An English-speaking live guide goes with you and groups are limited to 8 people. You see the Abisko river canyon, the Silver Falls and the frozen lake, have lunch at a local hotel in Björkliden, and return to Kiruna. The tour takes about 6 hours.

See the Abisko river canyon and the Silver Falls

In Abisko National Park you walk along the cliffs of the Abisko river canyon and take in the surrounding nature. Next you head to the Silver Falls, where the ice falls glitter and parts of the water are frozen, making it a good spot to take photos and rest for a while.

Walk on frozen Lake Torneträsk

You go down to Lake Torneträsk, the fifth largest lake in Sweden. When the lake is frozen you can step onto the ice and walk toward the small ice-covered islands. The downhill path is short but quite steep, and your guide helps you along.

Have lunch in Björkliden and head back

You continue to the village of Björkliden, with open views of snow-covered peaks, and have lunch at a cozy local hotel. On the way back you can relax, and your guide takes you safely back to your pickup point.
