About the Host

Highlights

Enjoy dinner while watching the sunset at a beachfront restaurant on Ishigaki Island, then walk through the subtropical jungle with a guide on a night tour. Dinner includes half a lobster, Ishigaki beef steak, an appetizer and bisque soup, with a choice of rice or bread. After dinner, explore the jungle by flashlight and look for wildlife such as rare insects, hermit crabs and owls. Ishigaki Island lies within Iriomote-Ishigaki National Park, Japan's first International Dark Sky Place, so on clear nights you can also look up at a sky full of stars.
