Highlights
A 1-hour stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) experience at a quiet, exclusive beach in Nago in northern Okinawa. After learning the basics from an instructor on the sand, paddle over clear waters with coral reefs and look down at tropical fish and coral. It runs in small groups of up to 10, and with a life jacket even non-swimmers can join. Located close to the Churaumi Aquarium and Sesoko Island, it fits nicely into a morning or afternoon of sightseeing in the north.

Learn the SUP basics
from your instructor on the sand
Meet your instructor at the meeting point in the Awa area of Nago and put on your safety gear, including a life jacket. Before entering the water, learn step by step how to paddle and stand on the board on the sand. The boards are stable and the instructor is always nearby, so first-timers can feel at ease.
Paddle over the coral reef off the exclusive beach
Set off from an uncrowded exclusive beach and paddle over clear water while admiring the coral reef and tropical fish below. Feel as if you are walking on water as you experience the Okinawan sea up close.
A great location to combine with northern sightseeing
Close to the Churaumi Aquarium and Sesoko Island, it is easy to fit in as a morning or afternoon activity during a trip to northern Okinawa. After the experience, you return to the meeting point.
