This 9-hour day tour takes you by tour bus from Naha to the most popular sights in southern Okinawa. Cross the Nirai Kanai Bridge
and see the southern seascapes
Depart from the tour bus stop in front of the prefectural office in Naha and travel about 1 hour by bus. Cross the Nirai Kanai Bridge, one of Okinawa's best scenic drives, and enjoy views of the curving bridge and the Pacific Ocean from the bus.
Look out over Kudaka Island from Cape Chinen Park
Stop at Cape Chinen Park in southern Okinawa for wide-open sea views. It's a great place to see Kudaka Island, considered sacred locally, and its large lawns and observation deck are perfect for a walk and photos.
Discover caves and Ryukyu culture at Okinawa World
At Okinawa World, explore Gyokusendo Cave with its huge stalactites, and experience the history and culture of the Ryukyu Kingdom through recreated streets, traditional performances and hands-on activities. There is also the Habu Snake Museum Park and an Eisa drum performance. Admission to Okinawa World costs extra.
Harvest sea grapes and finish at Senagajima
Stop at a local market, and if you wish, have an Okinawan pork BBQ lunch at a local restaurant (optional, extra cost). At the sea grape farm Uminchi, learn how sea grapes are grown, harvest and taste them yourself, and try sea grape ice cream. Finally, enjoy free time at Umikaji Terrace on Senagajima near Naha Airport, watching planes over the sea, before returning to the starting point.
