JR All Kyushu Rail Pass

The JR Kyushu Rail Pass is divided into North Kyushu, South Kyushu, and All Kyushu passes. It is a pass that allows you to use JR trains (local trains, limited express trains, Kyushu Shinkansen, Nishi-Kyushu Shinkansen) to travel around the Kyushu region of Japan, and it is divided into 'North Kyushu, South Kyushu, and All Kyushu' depending on which area you want to travel to.

Introducing the Hakata Station Rail Pass Exchange Location

Among those who purchase the JR All Kyushu Rail Pass from WAUG, 75% receive their rail pass at Hakata Station. You can receive your JR North Kyushu Rail Pass and confirm the dates at the window shown in the photo above. There are also large 안내 in Korean on-site, so it is not difficult to receive.

Available throughout Kyushu

This pass allows you to travel throughout Kyushu, from Fukuoka's Hakata Station to Beppu, Oita, Kumamoto, and Nagasaki and Sasebo, and south to Kagoshima and Miyazaki, by JR train (local train, limited express train, Kyushu Shinkansen, Nishi-Kyushu Shinkansen). 
 

Introducing the available trains

The JR All Kyushu Rail Pass allows unlimited rides on most JR-operated lines for a set period. For the All Kyushu Rail Pass, you can choose to purchase a 3-day, 5-day, or 7-day pass.

- Unlimited use of JR lines, Shinkansen, limited express, and local trains throughout Kyushu
- Pass for short-term foreign visitors only

You can use the following 4 types of trains:
1. Local train
2. Limited express train
3. Kyushu Shinkansen (Hakata~Kumamoto)
4. Nishi-Kyushu Shinkansen (Takeo Onsen~Nagasaki)

Do I have to use it consecutively?

The JR All Kyushu Rail Pass is available in 3-day, 5-day, and 7-day versions, all of which are valid only consecutively. In other words, if you first use it on January 1st, the 3-day pass will expire on January 3rd, and the 5-day pass will expire on the 5th. 

Introducing the trains you can ride in detail

With the JR All Kyushu Rail Pass, you can use both reserved and non-reserved seats on all Shinkansen (Mizuho, Sakura, Tsubame, Kamome) within the designated operating area. In addition, you can use both reserved and non-reserved seats on all limited express trains within the designated operating area, and all local trains within the designated operating area.

However, the JR Kyushu Rail Pass does not allow you to board the Shinkansen between Hakata and Kokura, which is part of the Sanyo Shinkansen operated by JR West!

How to reserve a reserved seat

You can use the train reserved seat advance reservation service through the JR Kyushu website JR KYUSHU RAIL PASS Online Booking.
* Reservations can be made before exchanging (issuing) the physical pass.
* Usage fee: D&S train (sightseeing train) → 1,500 yen General limited express → 1,000 yen (per seat)
* Children's usage fee is half the adult fee.
* For the limited express '36 plus 3 (36ぷらす3)', the fee varies depending on the section.
* Reserved seats can be reserved in advance from 10:00 am one month before the boarding date.
* The reserved seat advance reservation fee will be paid directly by credit card when you specify a seat on the JR Kyushu website.
