The JR Northern Kyushu Rail Pass is available for 3 days or 5 days, and both are valid for consecutive days only. In other words, if you first use it on January 1st, the 3-day pass will expire on January 3rd, and the 5-day pass will expire on January 5th. You cannot skip days in between.

With the JR Northern Kyushu Rail Pass, you can use both reserved and non-reserved seats on all Shinkansen (Mizuho, Sakura, Tsubame, Kamome) within the specified operating area. * Usage fee: D&S train (sightseeing train) → 1,500 yen, general limited express → 1,000 yen (per seat)
* Child fare is half the adult fare.
* For the limited express '36 Plus 3 (36ぷらす3)', the fare varies depending on the section.
* Reserved seats can be pre-booked from 10:00 AM one month before the boarding date.
* The reserved seat pre-booking fee will be paid directly by credit card when you reserve your seat on the JR Kyushu website.
