Do I have to use the 3-day pass consecutively?
The JR Southern Kyushu Rail Pass 3-day ticket is only valid consecutively . In other words, if you used it for the first time on January 1st, you can think of the 3-day pass as expiring on January 3rd. You cannot skip a day in the middle of a non-consecutive period.

The JR Southern Kyushu Rail Pass allows you to use both reserved and non-reserved seats on all Shinkansen (Mizuho, Sakura, Tsubame, Kamome) within the designated operating area.
