BESTIt was great to go with a baby. It seemed like there were a lot of fun things to do for adults, but the downside is that it closes early.
Japan's first theme park,
Hirakata Park
Hirakata Park is Japan's first theme park and boasts the longest history! It is a theme park loved by families because it is easily accessible, just a 3-minute walk from Hirakata Koen Station. During the day, you can ride exciting attractions such as the Ferris wheel, and at night, you can see the sparkling park. There are also various things to see, so even those who do not use the attractions can have fun.
Osaka theme park,
Do you only know about USJ?
The most popular and well-known place for travelers to Osaka is Universal Studios Japan. However, Osaka has many more theme parks. Among them, I will introduce Hirakata Park.
Hirakata Park is a family-friendly theme park with over 40 attractions. You can enjoy a variety of thrilling attractions by making good use of the undulating terrain. Hirakata Park is located 50 minutes from Dotonbori, downtown Osaka. The iconic "Skywalker" is a large, 80m-tall Ferris wheel.
Satisfying for everyone from children to adults!
The strength of Hirakata Park is that it has about 40 kinds of attractions, so visitors of all ages and preferences can enjoy it. There are various attractions that can be enjoyed by people who are afraid of rides, young children, and even on rainy days. Experience various attractions here and enjoy the attractions that you like to your heart's content!
It's fun even if you don't ride the rides
For those who want to enjoy the theme park atmosphere without using the attractions, I will introduce some activities to do here. It is the 'Rose Garden'. It is a place where roses of various colors and types are in full bloom.
There are four zones to enjoy: the Royal Rose Garden , which collects roses related to royal families from around the world, including the British royal family; the Fragrance Zone , where you can enjoy the scent of roses; the Celebrity Name Zone , where roses are named after many famous people, including historical figures and actors; and the Zone filled with original roses born in Hirakata Park . Depending on the season, you can also see cherry blossoms!
Healing with cute animals
In the season when there are no flowers, I recommend seeing animals. There are two animal areas. First, in the Wonder Garden, you can see red pandas, small-clawed otters, marmots, squirrel monkeys, prairie dogs, and red-tailed bears. It is popular because there are so many unique animals. Next is the indoor Waku Waku Animal Village. You can see capybaras, meerkats, turtles, rabbits, macaws, dogs, and maras. Here, you can see the animals up close and even feed them snacks.
