Chika is also famous for its mentaiko (辛子明太子-karashi mentaiko), which is mentaiko marinated in red pepper powder and seasoned with it. Since it is made right in the restaurant, it is said to have a taste full of sincerity that cannot be found anywhere else. You can find it in menus such as omelet with mentaiko, fried mentaiko, and three kinds of mentaiko.
