The origin of misokatsu
Misokatsu originated from dipping kushikatsu (skewered cutlets) in doteni (offal seasoned with red miso and boiled) soup at old food stalls! At first, the combination of miso and tonkatsu may seem unfamiliar, but the exquisite combination of Nagoya's red miso sauce and tender meat adds to the savory flavor, so many people come back for misokatsu!
