If you like sake but don't know what to choose or want to enjoy sake with Japanese food, immerse yourself in the world of sake with this tour! Join your guide on a 3-hour tour exploring Kyoto's Fushimi sake district, one of Japan's most famous sake producing regions with around 25 breweries.

Sake Brewery Insider Tour

Visit the Gekkeikan Okura Sake Museum in Fushimi or the Higashiyama Sake Brewery (Kizakura Museum) with a sake expert sommelier to expand your knowledge of sake and learn about the traditional brewing process passed down through generations. 

After the brewery tour, you'll have the opportunity to taste some of the flavors produced there. After the first tasting, you will move on to the full tasting session. Taste the flavors of sake you've never experienced before, as the sake sommelier will introduce you to sake that has never been exported. A professional guide will explain the differences in taste, such as dry, fruity, and sweet, and the manufacturing process of each.

Food Pairing

Sake and food pairing experience - A variety of otsumami, Japanese-style snacks traditionally eaten with alcohol, are also provided so you can see what kinds of foods and flavors pair best with sake types.
