5km Whitewater Rafting on the Hozugawa River

Your adventure begins at the rafting base, just a 3-minute walk from JR Umahori Station. After changing into your rafting gear and storing your valuables, you'll walk about 10 minutes with your guide to the starting point. Before boarding the raft, you'll receive a safety briefing and learn paddling techniques, then embark on the approximately 5km rafting journey down the Hozugawa River. Enjoy the exhilaration of navigating through rapids and the stunning natural beauty surrounding you.


From Swimming to 3m Cliff Jumps

Your rafting experience isn't just about the rapids. Midway through the course, participants have the option to jump into the river for a refreshing swim. You can also challenge yourself with a jump from a rock approximately 3 meters high into the river below. These activities are optional, so feel free to skip them if you prefer.


A Half-Day Adventure with All Gear and Photos Included

All necessary rafting equipment, including shoes, helmets, and life vests, is provided. Just bring clothes that are okay to get wet and a towel. After the rafting concludes, you'll take a train back to the rafting base from a nearby station, with the train fare included in the tour. Once you've changed back at the base, you can view the photos taken by your guide that day and receive complimentary digital copies.
