Start with a Taiwanese Breakfast & Ride Through Taipei's Morning

Meet your guide and first enjoy a local breakfast. Savor Taiwanese morning favorites like danbing, youtiao, soy milk, and scallion pancake-style fan tuan before preparing your bike for the ride.

First, visit Shuanglian Morning Market to witness locals shopping for groceries and daily necessities, and explore Wenchang Temple located within the market.

Next, head to Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall to admire the grand memorial structure, and if timing and operations permit, you might catch the changing of the guard ceremony. Learn about Taipei's modern history from your guide as you pass Jingfu Gate (East Gate), the former east gate of Taipei's old city wall, and the Presidential Office Building, built during the Japanese colonial era and now serving as the President's office.

Cycle About 15km from Longshan Temple to Tamsui River and Dihua Street

Visit Longshan Temple, a representative temple in Taipei, to experience its ornate traditional architecture and local religious culture up close.

Afterward, venture out of the city center and ride along the Tamsui River bike path. Enjoy the cityscape and river views as you cycle on the flat, wide path.

Towards the end of the ride, head to Dihua Street, a historically important trading hub in Taipei. Explore the street lined with old shops selling tea, medicinal herbs, dried seafood, and textiles, and visit the Taipei Xia-Hai City God Temple, famous for prayers for love and relationships.

After approximately 4 hours and 15km, the tour concludes as you return to the original bike tour office.
