Arrive at Muir Woods National Monument, where an old-growth forest of coast redwoods is protected. Admission is included, and you have about 1 hour 30 minutes to explore the forest at your own pace without a guide.

Follow the peaceful trails beneath the giant redwoods, stroll along Redwood Creek, or choose a route that suits your time and pace. Muir Woods offers trails of various lengths, including a short loop through the main redwood grove.

Enjoy the bay views in the waterfront town of Sausalito

After your forest walk, travel to Sausalito, known for its hillside setting and views of San Francisco Bay. Spend about 45 minutes exploring the waterfront, taking photos, or simply enjoying free time before reboarding the coach.

Choose how to return

Ride the coach back to a designated drop-off point in San Francisco, or stay in Sausalito and return to San Francisco independently by ferry. If you stay in Sausalito, you will need to arrange your own return transportation.
