San Francisco: Muir Woods, Sausalito & Marin Headlands Small-Group Tour with Hotel Pickup

Cross the Golden Gate Bridge
and walk among the Muir Woods redwoods

After pickup from a hotel within the designated San Francisco area, the tour starts early in the day to avoid the crowds. Your first stop is the Golden Gate Bridge, where you spend about 15 minutes taking photos of the bridge and San Francisco Bay.

Next, head to Muir Woods National Monument for about 2 hours. Stroll beneath the towering ancient redwoods at your own pace, with free time to discover hidden trails in the forest. Admission to Muir Woods is included.

Take in the Pacific at Muir Beach Overlook and Rodeo Beach

Leaving the forest, stop at Muir Beach Overlook for about 15 minutes to enjoy views over the Pacific coast. Then spend about 45 minutes at secluded Rodeo Beach, where you can walk along the shore or take photos at your leisure.

Look out over the bay from the Marin Headlands

Spend about 1 hour in the rugged Marin Headlands, climbing to high viewpoints overlooking the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay. It is a great place for photos, both from above and down by the beach.

Enjoy lunch and a stroll in seaside Sausalito

Finally, spend about 1 hour and 45 minutes in Sausalito, a seaside town known for its art galleries, waterfront restaurants, and laid-back atmosphere. Have lunch with views of the San Francisco skyline across the bay, enjoy some shopping and a stroll, and then return to your designated drop-off location.
