Stop for photos at the Golden Gate Bridge and head to Muir Woods
Stop for about 15 minutes for photos before crossing the Golden Gate Bridge. Then spend up to 90 minutes exploring Muir Woods National Monument, walking freely among the towering redwoods in a peaceful forest. Muir Woods admission is not included and must be paid directly to the National Park Service (NPS) at the entrance.
Drive through Sausalito and enjoy views of the bay
Drive through Sausalito, a beautiful waterfront town across the Golden Gate Bridge, and enjoy views of San Francisco Bay and the city skyline. In Marin County, there is time for a break, lunch, free time and shopping.
Take the ferry and explore Alcatraz Island
Board your reserved ferry at Pier 33 and cross to Alcatraz Island. Spend about 2 hours exploring the notorious prison at your own pace with an immersive audio tour. The tour ends at Pier 33.
