Program
Depart from the Reef Fleet Terminal
and cross to Fitzroy Island
Check in at the Sunlover Cruises counter in the Reef Fleet Terminal at Cairns Marlin Marina and board the boat. Depending on the departure time you booked, you leave Cairns at 8:45 AM or 10:10 AM and arrive at Fitzroy Island about 55 minutes later. On the island you have 5+ or 4+ hours of free time, depending on your departure time.
Discover the underwater world by beach snorkeling and glass-bottom boat
You can snorkel straight off the beach. Choose an option that includes snorkel gear or a glass-bottom boat to explore underwater with rental gear or view the coral from the boat. If rented snorkel gear is not returned or is damaged, you will be charged the replacement cost at the end of the tour.
Walk the rainforest trails and relax on the beach
Stroll to Nudey Beach or explore national park rainforest trails such as the Secret Garden, Lighthouse Road and Summit Trail at your own pace without a guide. Go for a swim or relax on the beach and enjoy the island's natural beauty.
Enjoy a picnic lunch on the island
Options with a picnic lunch include a standard lunch box of chicken baguette, muffin and fruit (contains gluten, dairy and nuts). It can be changed to vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy/lactose-free, nut allergy, onion/garlic allergy, egg-free or halal at no extra cost, with requests required by 5:00 PM the day before your trip. You leave the island at 3:30 PM and arrive back at the Cairns marina at 4:30 PM.
※ A guided snorkel tour, guided rainforest walk and turtle rehabilitation centre visit (closed Mondays and Tuesdays) are not included and may be purchased on the day, subject to availability.

Check-in is at the Sunlover Cruises counter inside the Reef Fleet Terminal at Cairns Marlin Marina. You cannot board without collecting your ticket from Sunlover Cruises. Unless otherwise advised, check in from 7:45 to 8:15 AM for the 8:45 AM departure, or from 8:45 to 9:45 AM for the 10:10 AM departure. Late check-in means you will miss the tour without a refund.
