This 2-day tour combines an Outer Great Barrier Reef snorkeling cruise on day 1 with a day trip to Fitzroy Island on day 2. The Fitzroy Island tour is automatically booked for the day after the reef tour, and you return to Cairns at the end of each day.

Day 1: Snorkel on the Outer Reef

Meet your marine biologist guide and local cultural expert in Cairns and head to the Outer Great Barrier Reef. Depending on the day's weather, you visit the best snorkeling sites among Milln, Flynn, Hastings, Saxon, Norman or Thetford Reef.

Enjoy about 5 hours at the reef to snorkel, have a buffet lunch on board and relax on deck at your own pace.

Experience Aboriginal culture and return to Cairns in the evening

Try traditional clap sticks and fire poles on board, and watch traditional dance and a live didgeridoo demonstration. After a day of exploring, return to Cairns in the evening.

Day 2: Explore the nature of Fitzroy Island

On day 2, cruise along the coastline to Fitzroy Island. On this largely untouched national park island, walk trails through rainforest and heathland and enjoy a glass-bottom boat tour.

Head to beautiful Nudey Beach for a picnic lunch and some snorkeling or sunbathing before relaxing on the return trip to Cairns.
