Walk through Kata Tjuta and
watch the sun set over Uluru

If you start in Alice Springs, you are picked up from your accommodation at 6:00 AM and travel about 4.5 hours to Yulara, with an early lunch on the way. If you start in Yulara or at Uluru (Ayers Rock) Airport, pickup is between 1:40 PM and 2:00 PM.

At Kata Tjuta, join a guided afternoon hike among the 36 domes and learn about the cultural significance of the area. As the day ends, enjoy light snacks while watching the sunset over Uluru, then return to camp for a shared dinner.

See sunrise at Uluru and
complete the Base Walk

Day 2 starts early with sunrise at Uluru. Your guide takes you to important cultural sites to learn about Anangu rock art and creation stories, and then you complete the Uluru Base Walk at your own pace.

After lunch, visit the Cultural Centre to explore art and stories of the Aboriginal people of the Western and Central Deserts. In the afternoon, travel to a private campsite near Watarrka National Park for dinner and a night under the desert sky.

Hike the rim of the gorge
on the Kings Canyon Rim Walk

On day 3, explore Kings Canyon, a vast gorge surrounded by towering sandstone walls. On the guided Rim Walk, you pass highlights such as the Lost City, the Garden of Eden and the Amphitheatre, and enjoy views from the canyon rim. After lunch, head back to Yulara, arriving in the late afternoon, or continue to Alice Springs, arriving around 6:00 PM.

With the 3-night option,
spend another night in Yulara

If you choose the 3-night option, you have a free evening in Yulara. You can choose activities such as the Field of Light, a sunset camel ride or a drone show at your own expense, or watch one last Uluru sunset before dinner.

The next morning after breakfast, free transport takes you to your Yulara accommodation or Uluru (Ayers Rock) Airport according to your departure time. If you have time before your flight, you can store your luggage at the Desert Gardens Hotel and enjoy Yulara, and a free shuttle runs between the hotel and the airport.
