If you start in Alice Springs, pickup from your accommodation is around 6:00 AM, and you travel across the Red Centre to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. If you start in Yulara, pickup is between 1:40 PM and 2:00 PM.
Walk through Walpa Gorge with your guide to feel the scale of the Kata Tjuta domes, and end the day at Uluru as the rock glows deep red at sunset. Have dinner at camp and spend your first night in a fixed eco tent.
After sunrise and a cultural walk at Uluru,
head to Kings Canyon

Day 2 starts with sunrise at Uluru. On a guided cultural walk, learn about Anangu stories, rock art and the spiritual significance of this sacred site, complete the full Uluru Base Walk and visit the Cultural Centre. After lunch, travel to Kings Canyon and spend the night under the stars at an eco tent camp.
Walk the Kings Canyon Rim and
discover First Nations astronomy

On day 3, take on the Kings Canyon Rim Walk and explore the Lost City, the Garden of Eden and towering sandstone cliffs. After lunch, continue through remote desert to the West MacDonnell Ranges, and in the evening join a First Nations astronomy session under clear night skies. For the next two nights you camp in swags.
Visit the gorges and waterholes
of the MacDonnell Ranges

On day 4, explore West MacDonnell Ranges highlights such as Ormiston Gorge, Redbank Gorge, Ellery Creek Big Hole or the Ochre Pits, with a chance to swim in a waterhole. After lunch, head to a remote bush camp at Arltunga in the East MacDonnell Ranges for guided stargazing.
On the final day, visit Trephina Gorge, Emily Gap and Jessie Gap to discover the landscapes and cultural significance of the East MacDonnell Ranges, then return to Alice Springs in the late afternoon after short walks.
