Meet at ACROS Fukuoka
and admire its garden architecture

The tour starts at ACROS Fukuoka, a building designed by the internationally renowned architect Emilio Ambasz. Admire its innovative garden wall and browse shops selling Kyushu crafts and tea-themed souvenirs.

Walk to Canal City and riverside architecture

Next, head to Canal City Hakata, a complex designed by American architect Jon Jerde. Discover hidden charms of Fukuoka that can only be seen on foot, and visit Theater Zero Ten, an impressive riverside building nearby, along with scenic spots that are often overlooked.

Pass the red torii of Sumiyoshi Shrine

Continue to Sumiyoshi Shrine, where traditional architecture and red torii gates create a calm atmosphere. Your guide will also show you hidden photo spots.

Relax with matcha at Rakusuien Garden

Finally, visit Rakusuien, a Japanese garden, and unwind with a cup of matcha. A nearby shop sells rare Kyushu sake, a great choice for souvenirs.
