Program

Gear up at Cape Maeda
and attend a safety briefing

Meet your guide at the Cape Maeda parking lot to start the tour. If you choose the hotel transport option, you travel with your guide from your accommodation. Change into your gear, listen to the safety briefing and head to the water. The tour takes about 1.5 hours in total: 30 minutes of preparation and 1 hour of snorkeling.

Enter the sea from the shore and practice

This tour starts from the shore, not from a boat. Walk down the stairs to the water's edge, enter the sea, put on your snorkeling gear and practice in the water before setting off.

Swim past the reef to explore the Blue Cave and its stalactites

Swim through the coral reefs of Cape Maeda into the heart of the Blue Cave. In the clear water, you can see the cave and its stalactites up close.

Get your tour photos and wrap up

After the adventure, return to the entrance, hand back the rental gear and change into your clothes. Receive the tour photos taken by your guide to finish the tour.

※ In bad weather, the tour may move to another safe spot with fish and coral. The Blue Cave is often closed from November to February due to strong winds.
